This is one of four games aimed at education psychologists exploring a different aspect of working memory in relation to education and learning.
In this game, you can look at how verbal memory is affected by rehearsal or suppression (by blocking rehearsal with irrelevant speech). By looking at this difference, you can determine whether children are using rehearsal to help them remember verbal information. If there is no difference between the two conditions, you may assume that they are either a) not using rehearsal effectively; or b) cannot rehearse.
